the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. i received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. it offered fine sunset and lagoon views. sofia provided an excellent facial and head massage.
the air conditioning was very cold and noisy. it would not switch off with the remote control. i had to remove the key card. this also disabled the power sockets.

the express check-in was very convenient after a hectic day. i was upgraded to a lagoon view room, it was a nice surprise. the room was big and had all necessary amenities. the hotel prepared a delicious dinner even after my late check-in.
the pool area had a uncomfortable infestation of crows, i didn't appreciate it. the pool was mostly in the shade after 3pm, it wasn't ideal. staff miss-punched the charged amount when i wanted to pay in rupees instead of dollars, the transaction costs are mine.

my room, a superior lagoon view, was modern. it had good amenities. the hot shower was very good and the wifi worked well. the bed felt comfortable.

the breakfast was acceptable with a decent spread.
The room i got was far from excellent. It was surprisingly dusty. what made matters worse was the constant noise from the air conditioning unit. It seems maintenance is not a priority here. to top it all off, someone let themselves into my room without knocking. Talk about a privacy breach!!!
